The Skies Are Opening to Local Flights...We all waited in anticipation for the day airports would open again. Well, it has finally happened and we are loving how it feels to see planes in the sky.
Contrary to information circulating that Nigerians will not be granted visas to the UAE, we have confirmed that this is FALSE. The UAE declared that all nationalities (including Nigerians) are welcome to Dubai.
As a reminder, all evacuation flight passengers on Emirates that are UAE citizens, foreign nationals or permanent residents will need a COVID-19 negative PCR certificate. The PCR certificate must be issued by an approved NCDC laboratory to be allowed on the flight. .
All Airports are now open to local flights. Passengers can now depart and arrive at Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Maiduguri, Calabar and more. Enugu airport is still closed due to repairs and may open 30 August 2020
The Federal Government has announced the reduction of arrival time before departure from 3 hours to 90 minutes for local flights. FAAN are advising all passengers to Book and Check-in Online. The international airport is still closed with no date of resumption given.
